Web UI Allows Login But Page is Blank

Hello All,

I installed Ubuntu 12.04 and Nagios 4 yesterday. With the help of the forum, I was able to get Nagios up and running. However, when I connect to the WebUI (IE, Firefox), I login with USID: nagiosadmin PW:****, and then I am asked to download a file. I can never get to the Nagios UI. Does anyone have any tips or things I can check?

The help I received earlier can be found here:

Thanks for any information!

Do you have php installed on this server?
Are your cgi's executable:

Code: Select all

ls -la <path to cgis>

Sadly, I have no idea what a php is or a cgi. I just installed Ubuntu and installed nagios. I assumed it would "just work".

If you have the time to explain to me what exactly I need to check, that would be great.

Thanks,

Ok Guys,

I resolved this issue. We can close this out.

I must have missed the install for libapache2-mod-php5.
I installed it and everything is working now.

Thanks!

Is this problem a continuation of the other thread your posted a link to? If so, I am going to merge the two for the sake of simplicity.

It is a continuation - but they were 2 separate issues. So, you may want to keep them separate.
