Active directory Integration Not working

Just installed a new XI installation from the vm and trying to follow the directions in the doc

we are unsuccessful in authenticationg with AD.
please provide any trouble shooting tips to check if all configs are ok.
Here is the system info.
System:
Nagios XI Version : 2012R2.5
2.6.32-358.2.1.el6.x86_64 x86_64
CentOS release 6.4 (Final)
Gnome is not installed
Apache Information
PHP Version: 5.3.3
Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/30.0.1599.101 Safari/537.36
