I'm trying to monitor a network device with check_snmp and the services have the status of Unknown.
I found that check_snmp does not like the -x aes option or it does not support it.
I get the following error when trying to run the check_snmp from the command line.
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_snmp: invalid option -- 'x

This option is required for my configuration of SNMPv3

Any help !!!

I figured out the issue. All you have to-do is upgrade your plugins to the latest version.
