Good morning, I am the administrator of Nagios XI, now I have created an account with:

Security SettingsAuthorization Level: User
Can see all hosts and services: disabled
Can (re)configure hosts and services: [x]
Can control all hosts and services: disabled
Can see/control monitoring engine: [x]
Can access advanced features: disabled
Has read-only access: disabled

He should only create, modify and see what he has created but did not see anything else.
The profile when create a new host don't see the "Parent Host" , the "Specific contact groups" and the "Other individual contacts".

Interesting note, I will do some testing and see what might be the cause. I would also think that all configuration settings would be available with your settings.

Thank you very much for your interest, we're starting NagiosXI to monitor about 300 cisco router within a project for the Health of the Marche region in Italy. I have about 13 people divided into 13 areas, and each one should set up and manage their own devices without seeing and touching others, and the administrator should do everything. Then we would like to include in monitoring other devices (Switch, Server, VMWare) and services. I'm sorry for my English is not very good, but I hope to have been exhaustive.

Parent Host: The user must have monitoring rights on the parent to add a child to it.
Specific Contact Groups: Needs to be admin to change others' contact settings.
Other individual contacts: again, see above. A standard user cannot change other contacts settings.
