Hello,

Pending the existing feature request for better CCM integration with AD/LDAP auth... is it possible to deactivate the login altogether?

Regards

You want to remove the ability to login to the CCM?

no, I'd like login to be automatic... and merely rely on the initial nagios login as authentication

no more CCM login

You can set this up through Admin > Automatic Login:

Yes, I believe that does what I'm looking for...

this is very ambiguous though:

Automatic Login
These options allow you to configure a user account that should be used to automatically login visitors. Visitors can logout of the default account and into their own if they wish.

It's really unclear to me what this applies to and what it affects based on that text.

With it active, I can now enter my credentials (AD component), click on auto-login and reach the CCM as user nagiosadmin without authentication. Which is essentially what I was looking for.

actually... no that must be my browser... so yes, I have no idea what this button is actually expected to do nor how it functions...

it isn't what you are looking for. Any user could now get in a do whatever they want as they could auto login as nagiosadmin, since you have that account set to autologin visitors.

There is current no way to auto login/pass credentials to the CCM login. I think Sam misunderstood your question.
