Hello Support,

We are getting below error message while reconfiguring the host

Configuration submitted for processing...
Waiting for configuration verification....
Configuration verification failed.

Below are the Navigation/ Steps to Reproduce the problem

1.Navigate to Host Details
2.Click on the any of the Host
3. From the Host details Page , click Configure tab , Click re-configure Host and update

Configuration submitted for processing...
Waiting for configuration verification....
Configuration verification failed.


when we try to manually run the reconfigure_nagios.sh from operating system, we get below message,Please advice how to resove the error message and reconfigure the host.

Please find below details of our installation

* Linux Distribution and version - Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.2 (Santiago)
* 32 bit?
* Manual Install of XI

From the XI GUI go to Admin -> Reset Security Credentials -> Click Update Credentials

This may resolve the problem. If not it could be caused by disabling/deleting the nagiosxi user in the CCM

Thanks for the update, we tried resetting the credentials as mentioned ( under Admin -> Reset Security Credentials -> Click Update Credentials) , Also we made sure that the nagiosxi user is active in CCM and has necessary rights , Still when we try to reconfigure the host we get the same error , Below is the message we see it in the logs.

Have you changed the passwords to any of the databases?
