Nagios Support Forum

Hi All

Iv been having issues on installing this nagios xi on my new physical dell server, after installing it comes up with Nagios Core lol
iv Googled and been on nagios.org but got no luck

Iv done a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

Please advise on how to install Nagios XI on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS ??

Nagios XI does not run on Ubuntu.

We would need to make some pretty significant changes to our install script and PHP itself to deal with Ubuntu's weird directories and package names, dependencies, etc.

Now it is possible to manually make all the changes yourself, but we do not support this in any way. That would create far too many support headaches, and as we have not tested it internally it might cause unforeseen problems in the future even if it does work. We won't be able to answer any questions or provide any support should you choose to do so.
