Hi,
I got a problem with my check_nrpe when I want to add new host in my NagiosXI.

I got the following error message :
Socket timeout after 10 seconds

The fact is when i follow the doc in NagiosXI help, it's installing the NRPE V2.14, on my server i have the 2.12 (even after the last upgrade in 2012 R2.5).
Is it possible that the versions of NRPE were not compatible ?

How can I upgrade it on my NagiosXI server ?

You should be fine with 2.12, the document you are referring to is probably not a Nagios XI document. I would take a look at this document to solve the error you are getting:

It is likely either the check is taking more than 10 seconds to return "add a '-t 30' to the check command," or that you do not have your nagios server defined in the nrpe.cfg file on the remote host.
