Is there a way to bulk change a host assigned to multiple services?

What are you specifically looking to change?

I ran a wizard which created a new host but I already had a host that was fully configured with everything. So I want to switch the hosts what host is assigned to them.

Currently there is no way to bulk alter object dependencies, or in this case re-assign services to different hosts. You do have a growing list of options under CCM > Tools > Bulk Modification Tool.

Yeah, I already looked into that. I don't want to edit those variables. Is this being worked on? Will we see a way to alter object dependencies in a future release?

Besides using the CCM and manually changing the Host definition in the services or using templates/host, and service groups those are the only options. I'm not sure what is being worked on in the tool at this time but you can add a feature request for this at:
tracker.nagios.com
This is why we generally recommend using templates and groups, so that you can bulk change dependencies such as these, and blanket alter certain options.

I exported the service config file and did a find & replace on the host_name. Then imported it back into nagios and deleted the previous service config file. It worked well and it didn't take that much time.

Did you have anything else for us? Also, did you submit the feature request?

It would be an account you create on that site.
