Can't Delete Host or Services

My first post as an actual customer, this is indeed a glorious day. :D

I added a Foundry Network Switch to my Nagios XI, the plugin wasn't working, so I decided to remove it, and try again. Nagios won't let me delete the service or the host via CCM, is there anything I can check on that or do I have to go into the command line to get rid of it?

If I do have to delete it from the command line, which files do I need to remove it from? On our old Nagios, we would have to delete those entries from host.cfg, services.cfg, and hostgroups.cfg.

Mahalo;

Welcome to the Customer Support forum! We have a fine selection of wines and comfy sofas to relax on.

Does the CCM give you any issues like "X service depends on Y host" or something?

Make sure and do these:

1. Delete any services for the host first
2. Delete the host(click the blue i icon to see any dependent relations)
3. Stay far away from tmcdonald, he's scary! :lol: (just joking of course, and actually hesitated to say it)

My bad, the error was being thrown because of a service on another host, I missed it in the config file earlier.

What a lame first post. :(
