Send Mails in Text forma1t

how can I change the format of MAIL from html(default by install) to text?

I use nagios centos 6.4 64bit 2012.

My Nagios skills are still very elementary. I have been active for a few days.

Is this something you have done before in another environment? To my knowledge this would need to be a mail server configuration, not a Nagios one.
