Hello everyone,
I am in need of a solution.
Our operation team Acknowledge WARNING alerts, and once it becomes CRITICAL, the Acknowledge remains.
Is it possibel on any Hard Change status perform a disacknowledge ?
Maybe there a simple way to do this? Or should I write a script monitor the status and build the disacknowledge URL and execute.

It looks like when you acknowledge any problem state, the acknowledgement will persist until the state changes back to OK. I agree, this should be able to be enabled or disabled. Would you be able to enter a feature request at:
tracker.nagios.org

Hi,
We have noticed the same issue in 2014R2.7, I assume this has never been resolved?

I wouldn't say "resolved" is the right word to use here, because this is the intended behavior. You are acknowledging a problem, not a particular state in Nagios. Acknowledging means "I am aware that something is broken, and am working on it (or wish to ignore it)". If you wish to have this behavior altered you are welcome to open an issue for it on GitHub:
https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/nagioscore
However I doubt this behavior will change as that would be a pretty big disrupt to how people are used to Core working.
