Read Errors from emails

I have installed Nagios Core on a Debian Vm.
I need it to check emails with Error messages in them and then display the errors, what they mean and from whom they were sent.
I have been trying to set this up for some time now, but can’t find out how.
Could one of you help me or show me a guide, which handles my problem?

I have been trying to set this up for some time now, but can’t find out how.
What have you tried so far? You can probably find a plugin that can provide you with this functionality on the Nagios Exchange.
