hi,

i hope the tool is calculating latency of network component by average .

here with i attached two screenshots for your reference where the tool is not considering the average latency ..

RTA values showing higher values..

pls suggest.

While I would agree that nagios seems to be showing a much higher value than expected, have you checked using the check_ping tool? As a fair warning, if you have lots of checks running when this check is occurring you might see some latency but this is more than I would expect.
