Recurring Service Downtime - Multiple entries

I have a few recurring Scheduled Service downtimes setup.
It appears that they are being recheduled every 2 hours. I now have *many* entries for the same event
It is a recurring Servicegroup downtime and is run once per week. They all appear to clear at the scheduled downtime, but after that they start building up again.
Also I get an email notification for each of the dupliacted downtimes.

I tried deleting them manually but I can only do one at a time so gave up after a while.
Any ideas on why they would be recheduled every hour?

What version of Nagios XI are you running? This was fixed in the latest release.

Sorry.... Nagios XI 2012R2.7

The Recurring downtime ran OK yesterday (8/12/13 05:00) , however since then it is being rescheduled twice every hour.
Here's a snapshot of the recent scheduled downtimes - they continue on down to 12-08-2013 05:01:02

I wonder if the patched version of "recurringdowntime.pl" didn't get to R2.7... Download the file below:
recurringdowntime.zip
upzip it, and copy the "recurringdowntime.pl" file to: "/usr/local/nagiosxi/cron/" directory, overriding the old "recurringdowntime.pl" file.

Let me know if this fixed your problem.

Thanks for that. I have copied the script over & will see what happens.
There is a small difference between the existing script and your new version

There was a few small fixes for downtime in the past few weeks. Let us know if it is WAI.

All good now - no additional recurring downtimes have been scheduled since I updated the script.
The test will be on Sunday to see if it does reschedule then.
