I actually had more, but deleted the October ones just now. Should these be cleaning themselves out? Also, any idea why they used to be owned by nagios:nagios and the most recent are not root:root?

Not really. Are you running a nagios backup daily around 1:30am?

How is the backup running? Maybe the credentials for your backup script changed?

Beats me man...no big deal, I just wanted to make sure...I can easily clean the folder when alerted the drive is filling. Close this up.
