Diagramming our systems and sub-systems

Hi there,
At my company we're using Nagios 2 Core.
It reports a great deal of information on a large number of computers.
We have many clusters and subnets of computers
What i would like.. is a way of using the information in Nagios
to generate diagrams of a variety of active systems and sub-systems in our production & test environments.
I guess this would be a collection of system/server maps..
probably linked to Nagios's integral db of machines and servers.
So my question is: Is there already a tool, or an add-on, a plugin etc.. that
allows us to create and store maps of this kind ?
I would be very grateful for any suggestions.. recommendations that you might have to offer
thanks for your help.. have a nice day
