can Nagios be set up to monitor services/processes on a system and when a new one appear, then alert or notify? my idea is that if we bring on more computers in the cloud (from our provider) and our base image as NAgios on it, and a machine gets compromised and a service we dont have a footprint or knowledge of starts running on a machine, we could be notified to investigate.

i've looked thru the documentation and cant see how it could be done, or if it could be done. Any help is appreciated.
