Network Unreachable

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently in the process of setting up a test Nagios setup before we purchase the product. I'm having a hard time getting our Windows agents working.

I've configured the host using the wizard, I've downloaded the agent, and installed the agent on the server. The agent and the Nagios server can talk to each other because at one point I entered an incorrect password in the agent I installed on the Windows server and it showed up as an incorrect password in Nagios. After I resolved the password problem (changing the agent install on the server) I get a "Network is unreachable" error in the Service Detail for the client. Nagios can ping the server fine and it passes the host check.

Nagios XI server:
CentOS VM downloaded from Nagios.
Version:
Nagios XI 2012R2.5

I installed the current stable 64-bit NSClient on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box.

Thanks for any help!

Nate

What version of Nsclient are you using? You can set logging = 1 in the configuration file and restart the service in windows, this will generate a log file in your installation directory, once this is done and you have ran some checks against the host from nagios, please attach that log here in a reply.

I actually uninstalled the client from the host computer and then reinstalled it and everything came up the second time.

Thanks for the help.
