Hello,
Can someone please update
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... ng_systems and add Nagios XI to this list.. One of our project leaders has got a phone from a Netcrunch salesman who has convinced him Netcrunch is a cheaper, easier and better solution than Nagios... When I hear his reasons and documentation, I don't think he ever heard of Nagios XI..
I really do not want to change again to another monitoring system.... And I kind of like Nagios XI and your support.
Grtz
Willem

It's generally considered bad taste for a company to write about itself on Wikipedia, mostly because it can quickly go from fact-based to advertising. However since Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, you would be more than welcome to do so.

Hey Willem, I'm going to pass this on to the powers that be, they will do what they can and we will try to keep you up to date here. I would recommend passing your project lead to actual facts posted places other than Wiki, such as our feature and comparison list. He can also contact our sales team for a good run down, looking at their site there are quite a lack of information, and from what there is it does not appear to hold up to Nagios XI very well.

No problem. Managed to convince this project leader Netcrunch is not a good idea. Thread can be closed.
