No information returned from check_nrpe?

Hello Guys,

We have installed nrpe plugins on our Ubuntu (Nagios Core Server) using apt-get install nagios-nrpe-plugin command. On our remote Linux host, Nagios Plugins and NRPE daemon was also installed following this reference (On Remote Linux Host section). However, we are still not able to get information from the service. But when we run this command (see attached), we are able to get a result. Any idea what we could be missing here? I will attach the my config files as well.

/etc/nagios3/objects/PBX.cfg
/etc/nagios-plugins/config/check_nrpe.cfg

Thank You,

Arnel

Where did you download that NRPE from? I ask because it has the signature of a product that is not Nagios.

From the reference above, NRPE was downloaded from http://garr.dl.sourceforge.net/project/ ... .15.tar.gz.

Thanks,

Arnel

You said you downloaded it from here which is the 2.15 version, yet your screenshot is showing the 2.14 version. Are you sure you installed it correctly? It is also reporting a competing product on the remote host, which is not something we can provide support for.

Yes, and I just reinstalled it again (see attached). About that OA, i dont even know that that's why i posted that screenshot. We are just using Nagios to monitor our hosts. Looks like it was included on the OS by default. We also checked the other Free PBX system that we have and I saw that OA was installed as well. We are using this distro FreePBX-4.211.64-7-x86_64-Full-1379605000 for this host.

Thank You,

Arnel

Are you running "make install" as well?
