Removed Host still has Service Status - Critical

Hey Guys,

Great product (Nagios XI), I have been working on a Production Nagios Xi instance for a number of months and have recently built a second (back-up) Instance and have encountered a strange situation I cannot correct.

Nagios XI 2012R2.7
Running on AWS-EC2 (Nagios Image)
CentOS 6.2? (Can find out if it's critical)
No idea if it's 32/64bit (Again can find out if it's critical)

So I added a Host (lets call it Host03) and then realised that was incorrect and I wasn't happy with it, so I removed all the services and then removed the Host (through CCM).

Once Host03 and all it's services but a Critical Service Status was still in Views - I thought nothing of it (as it will just update in a few minutes) and went to bed, woke up - had like 8 email notifications around this Service being at Critical.

I have tried removing the Service using the Configure Tab under Host Status Detail (in Views) but it errors saying:

"Could not find a unique id for this host
Host cannot be deleted using this method"

Of course because I have already deleted the actually Service (and the UID is gone with it).

So my question is, once a Service moves to the 'Critical' Service Status, and you remove that Service using CCM. Is there anyway to clear it?

I haven't tried re-adding the Host, then removing the Critical Service Status under the Configure Tab in Views. Might try that now, but just interested in if this is a bug or do I need to edit a conf to correct it etc.

Thanks in Advnace and look forward to your feedback, Alex.

Is this host present in the system's backed along with it's services? To check this, see:
