we have moved database to /store/backups/nagiosxi to /u01/backups/nagiosxi
and also we moved all db stuff and scripts from /store to /u01 partition.

1)Not sure why all of sudden after nagios xi upgrade we see that the scripts change to default location /store/backups/nagiosxi

2)somehow we found nagios.sql being updated in /store/backups/nagiosxi so we moved it again /u01/backups/nagiosxi after renaming old one.
now there are 2 files.How can we combine them both to get complete data

First of all I want to mention, that making certain changes to the your XI system will be reverted upon upgrading. This can only be mentioned of course, if we were told someone made changes that would revert. Alright, now on to the sql files. Merging SQL files is not something directly covered by our support, though we can try to lend a hand. If you search for "how to merge .sql files" you should come up with some good guides, I also found this post:
