Nagios Users service authorization
I have a nagios instance which is monitoring about 5 hosts. I want to add a new user and allow that user to only have access to view one of the hosts and the services being monitored on that. I'm not sure how to achieve this. In the cgi.cfg file I can see the authorized_for_all_services, authorized_for_all_hosts variables, but it seems that listing the username under those variables will provide them access to all hosts and services. How do I only provide these users authorization to view one specific host and all the services that are monitored on it?

Create a contact with the same username and enable that contact only on the objects you want that user to be able to view.
