Is it possible to install Nagios 4.0.2 Core+NRPE+PNP4Nagios to install on solaris 11 sparc base server

It is possible, but you will have to build from source. Is this for solaris 11 (thread title) or 10 (your post)?

I am already using Nagios 3.X on Sparc Solaris 10.
This will be new thread becaus I am not finding any procedural steps to install Nagios4.x verson on Sparc based solaris 11 .

This process is not documented AFAIK. It would be similar to the process for installing core 3.5.x on solaris though. We have seen reports of successful core 4 and nrpe installs on solaris 11. I am unsure if pnp4nagios 0.6 is an easy install on solaris though. The major problems people run into are missing dependencies and where to get the necessary packages to resolve those dependencies. Also, we occasionally see issues with linking and the SUNW_1.x library.
