how do I remove the integrated features in xi?

There are features in xi that we don't use.
For example, we don't use the Network status map, graph explorer, and stuff like that.

The only "safe" (big quotes around that one) features to remove would be those listed in the various system extensions under the Admin menu, do keep in mind, that some of these components, etc... are used in multiple places throughout XI so I would recommend making backups of all of them prior to playing around with this.

gotcha! is there a way to remove them so a user wont see them?

Not at this point, its basically an all or nothing unless there is additional security in place, such as with nagvis or bpi. One note I would mention, don't remove graph explorer, you're going to want it come 2014, and for any reporting.
