Question Postfix broken after Acronis image taken of server
"postfix start A dependency job for postfix.service failed. See 'journalctl -n' for details."
This started happening after I took an image of my server with acronis true image.
How can I fix this?
It happens if i type postfix start or restart.
Nagios is working fine. Postfix is broken not receiving email notifications

Have you run journalctl -n or journalctl -xn and looked at the log entries that you should have? Also what exact steps did you take to make an image of the system, and is this testing the original system after image or a newly cloned system?

Looks like you posted this same question here.....

I trust you are using Core on SuSe? We will do some looking around, this sounds like a question for the postfix mailing group as it does not deal with Nagios. None the less, we will see what we can find for you, I'd recommend going on the hunt yourself as well. Acronis should have nothing to do with postfix issues, it's just an imaging solution.

The original system after taking an image of it. How can I get to the postfixforum also?
tried journalctl -n . not sure what info i'm supposed to look for. will post back if you let me know what to post?
I think this is what you are looking for
Dependency failed for Postfix Mail Transport Agent.
How do I go about troubleshooting the Mail Transport Agent?

And I tend to agree with slansing, especially after seeing that error. Simple things we can help with, but when you get into MTAs and their dependencies it's a bit out of scope.
