I have tried to install different versions of nsclient in my environment and I cant get any of them to communicate with my server. Could you tell me if their is a version that has been tested to work with 2003?

Some quick Googling suggests others have had firewall issues:

We are using 0.4.101 as standard and that works fine here.

Great, I have to admit I've never tried using NSClient with 2003, but I'd give the version Willem mentioned a try. If it does not work properly, or install properly, I'd ask the NSclient guys, it is their agent, not ours.
