Problem with NSClient++, NRPE, NAGIOS, and Centreon

I have a remote server running NSCLient++ with Windows Server 2003 for Small Bussiness to report information to a NAGIOS server using NRPE. For configuration I am using Centreon rather than raw configuration files. Centreon outputs a successful external ping to the remote server, though for my test service check "check_nt!UPTIME" with the check_nt as "$USER1$/check_nt -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -p 12489 -v $ARG1$ $ARG2$" the output is "CRITICAL - Socket timeout after 10 seconds."
