lets say I we have configured several scheduled outages for today, some team will be bring down some servers, and dont want nagios spam
however I still would like to be able to work on some new alerts today ... and whenever i do a nagios reload to load the new alerts into nagios ... the scheduled outages i had setup they dissapear
Is there a way to keep whatever acknowledges, outages i had setup , after doing a reload on the nagios service ?
persistent outages after nagios reload
Re: persistent outages after nagios reload
Just to clarify: downtimes are not preserved through reloads? How about restarts?
What version of nagios are you running? This was a bug with 3.4: http://tracker.nagios.org/view.php?id=338
It has been fixed in recent versions.

Re: persistent outages after nagios reload
3.4.1 is the exact version mentioned in that bug fix. An upgrade to any newer version should fix it.
