Bulk Modification Tool 2012 V2.9 change notification period

Hi,
we are running NagiosXI 2012 V2.9 with the latest updated version of the Bulk Modification Tool loaded. When I try to modify the host or service notification period setting it removes the notifcation_period completely
from the cfg files and shows the setting blanked out on the CCM GUI after the change is applied.

Is this a know issue with the notification period and the Bulk modification tool ?

System installed on RHEL 6.3 x86_64 with manual install of nagiosxi.

When you go to make the change, what value are you typing in the box? Is it a time period you have defined?

Hi,
yes it is a time period I have defined it's named online_time_period and is set from Friday to Saturday 07:30 to 18:30.

Let's verify - you entered the online_time_period's ID (last column under the CCM->Timeperiods) into the "Value" field under the Bulk Modifications Tool, correct? Did you apply configuration after adding the notification_period to your hosts/services? Do you have any config errors?

Hi, the steps carried out are as follows

Configure --> Core Configuration Manager --> Bulk Modifications

Bulk Modifications Tool

Change a Single Config Config Option

notification_period

specify custom timeperiod in the value

specify the services to apply to and click on Apply Configuration

No errors returned

When I look at the notification_period on the service selected it's removed.

Can you elaborate on "specify custom timeperiod in the value"? Is this the ID of your timeperiod or some random value?

Go to CCM->Alerting->Time Periods and post a screenshot of this page. Highlight the value (ID) of the "custom timeperiod" that you are trying to enter.
