Nagios XI 2012R2.9
RHEL 6.5 x64
Manual Install
Is there a way to display some of the custom variables in the Host/Service Status Detail screen.
Preferably a different tab that shows, location, support team etc etc.
I prefer to get this info from custom variables instead of a text field to facilitate reporting.
Any input on this will be appreciated.
Thanks

Currently the best way I can think of to achieve this would be to use the 'notes' component to add the information in.

Where would you retain these custom variables and where would they be accessed from? You could create a component, or alter the notes component.

Custom variables will be in the host / service definitions.
_SupportTeam
_SupportContact
_Location
etc etc

Sounds like another candidate for a feature request! You can enter them yourself
here or we can do it for you, either way. Great suggestions though, keep 'em coming!

Please do submit for me. However the question is what do we do in the meantime.

I think in the meantime the best suggestion is the one slansing posted, and that is to use the notes component.
