File Permissions for Log

1) Applying config results in "Configurations failed to write to file."

No Log files are created, so it looks like a permission issue. Which file can it not write too?

2) How can I reset the "Unapplied" configuration? I added a Cisco Switch (SNMP) and it added 1000+ non-existent ports. The switch has 52.
I tried deleting them from the Core Config gui and it says it deleted them, but they are still there.

Edit: Found the problem.

For some reason (perhaps by design), setting the LIMIT RESULTS to "None" limit (none) vs (15,100,200) affected the WITH CHECKED option. Once I set the "limit results" option to 250, it allowed me to delete 250 records at a time.

Once I got rid of the bogus PORTs, the config applied successfully.

NOTE HOWEVER, the log still failed and probably should not have.

Apply configuration fails if you have a configuration error, or you cannot connect to the database, to check for errors use CCM > Tools > Write Config Tools > Write --> Verify. This will show you what you need to fix in the future.
