We are helping our client using check_openmanage to monitor DELL servers, but since there are too many alert information from DELL servers, our client want us to find if there is a way to reduce alert messages(not important). We find on the page.10 of manual (attachment) there's a way to filter Blacklisting alert message, using bat_charge Component to filter charging alert.
In the Charging cycle of DELL Server, there will be 4 alert messages on NagiosXI, can we just have one alert message and filtered 3 others?

Can you please explain in a little more detail what you mean here?

Please see attachment, the alert including battery "Charging" "Learning" "Degraded", is there a way that only keep "Degraded" alert?

Looking at the Blacklisting notes it would appear that the answer is no. It will ignore non-critical errors and from your last screenshot the Degaded message is a warning message (non-critical).

Thanks for quick reply!
I wonder how this scripts verify which alert is non-critical or not? is it by the status of "Severity" of DELL Openmanage?

I wouldn't be able to tell you this without spending some time reading through the plugin.
I suggest you contact the creator of the plugin, he may be able to help you out or take your suggestions onboard to improve the plugin.

This was a comment from his website:
One could argue that check_openmanage should simply ignore these warnings, as they occur regularly on all controllers with a cache battery. They could be viewed as informational. However, for the odd case where the charge cycle never finishes, the warnings are reported by check_openmanage, but with an included note that says that the warning is probably harmless.
