User with "configure" rights can't update contacts

Hi,

I've set up a user so he can update Notes and tweak plugin args to his group's liking. I mostly wanted them to be able to manage who gets contacted for all their hosts and services. They have a Notifications tab, but the individual and contact groups dialog boxes are empty. Screenshot of what they see and how they're configured below. Anything I can do to enable this? Thanks.

Users set with "user level privileges" don't have access to the Core Config Manager. For more information on User Rights, you can read our documentation on the topic:
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... Rights.pdf
You can have a "partial workaround" by adding a user, who will have access to the Nagios Core Config Manager. It can be done through: "Core Config Manager" -> "Config Manager Admin" (left panel menu) -> "Manage Config Access" -> "Add New". You can assign different levels of control, according to your needs. The user will be able to manage the contacts (add, delete, etc.), however I don't think this user will be able to view individual contacts or contact groups under "send alert notifications to..."

Yes, I've read that doc. It doesn't explain the keys/keyhole weirdness though. Is that in some other doc?

Unfortunately, we don't have a document covering this topic, yet. We will be working on creating one and posting it to the Nagios Library.

Well I guess I'll just click on boxes and see what happens.
