Hi,

Does anyone has any advices on how to monitore a FreeNAS server ? I am trying to use the SNMP WALK MONITORING WIZARD but i am loosing myself into the MIBs. I got the full snmpwalk output into a text trying to gather interesting OIDs, but without any descriptions it just make me realize how noob i am with SNMP...

So if anyone has experience on monitoring FreeNAS, or a method on how to find the right OIDs.

It may be easier to install nrpe on your FreeNAS server instead of trying to monitor it via SNMP. You can install it from the FreeBSD ports collection I believe, and then configure it following this PDF manual.
