Weak UI

Nagios XI 2012R2.9
RHEL 6.5 x64
Manual Install
Offloaded DB

I have noticed that the UI in XI is very rudimentary.

1) Went to schedule downtime, have to remember the hostname, servicename. No list to select from or search.
If I want to schedule a downtime for 10 servers, I need to do it 10 times??
2) Same in recurring downtime. No such features
3) In host & service group templates etc. No feature to search, need to scroll up and down for ages.
To make it worse, cannot see the right scrollbar, if I scroll to to right cannot see most of the services list names.
The fixed size list is just too small.

Checked the latest 2014 version. Same thing, no difference.
I think more focus need to be given to the usability for large instances.

1.) If you view the service or host in the details page, there is a link to schedule downtime for that object:

You could also create groups to handle downtime and similarly view the command for the group:

2.) Similarly to the above solution, recurring downtime can be scheduled for a group.

3.) I can put in a feature request for this.

Thanks for the reply.

1) This is what I meant, I need to go to 10 e.g 10 different hosts and schedule downtime individually.
Ideally I should be able to do it in one place. Same for Recurring downtime under Incident Management

2) For hostgroups I can live with it but the same comments above apply.

3) Thanks for the assistance.
