unable to schedule downtime in Nagiosxi

We are unable to schedule a downtime in nagios xi, we are getting below error message while scheduling the downtime

Our Nagios version, Nagios XI 2012R2.9

Please advice how to resolve the error and schedule downtime in Nagios.

Is your user an admin within the XI interface? The only time you should get this message, is if your user does not have access to see\control monitoring engine, and possibly access to advanced features. But generally being a contact for the item you are wishing to schedule downtime for should be enough.
