Good morning,

I am managing nagios in my new job, I've always managed NagiosXI, and here the core with check_mk, nconf the core .....
The thing is I have come new and there is nothing documented.

There are user groups that they may see your notifications, but nose where given, nor as I can edit the view.
In the path /etc /check_mk /conf.d wato
I have
-rw-rw ---- 1 apache 319 Sep 26 2012 nagcmd rules.mk
-rw-rw ---- 1 apache nagcmd global.mk 37 October 24, 2012
-rw-rw ---- 1 apache nagcmd 37 February 20 12:17 groups.mk
-rw-rw ---- 1 apache 59 May 27 8:58 nagcmd contacts.mk

Without too much info:
cat groups.mk
# Written by WATO
# Encoding: utf-8

cat contacts.mk
# Written by WATO
# Encoding: utf-8

contacts.update (
{}

Where I can see the view of having each user check_mk?
How I can edit colors, backgrounds, monitorings my check_nk?

As new alerts are implemented in check_mk?,

Thanks for the help.
Regards

To learn more about check_mk, you should probably look at the check_mk web documentation site: http://mathias-kettner.com/checkmk.html. It will be a lot faster for you to learn it that way than to get individual answers to your individual questions here at the Nagios forum. check_mk uses Nagios Core as the backend check processor, but it is not really Nagios.

Thanks for your reply.
But I still have doubts as:

Where I can see the view of having each user check_mk?
How can I edit colors, backgrounds, monitorings my check_nk?

To see monitorings, I must first have it in Nagios Core, or I can lift directly from check_mk?

Thanks
Regards

To be completely honest with you we do not support check_mk here, you can try contacting their mailing list, but for basic questions I suggest you search around for a tutorial of sorts to get you started.

http://mathias-kettner.de/check_mk_lists.html

From what I know of the MK projects there are both viewing and checking components that can be used.
