Our Nagios XI environment has gone through a lot of changes and growth lately. Just upgraded to the newest version last week 2014.
Is there a tool or report to audit whats is being checked and who is being alerted/escalated by those checks?
Basically we want to audit all the configs and makes sure the correct checks are in place...the correct admins are being notified and escalated too.

Thanks
I found NDOAudit and installed the plugin but I dont see the report?

I'm not sure of a tool that exists already for this, but if you look at the /usr/local/nagios/var/objects.cache file it contains every object in Nagios with all template options resolved, so you don't have to go back and forth between the template and the object to confirm what is set. The only drawback is that you still have to cross-reference the escalation with the host.

As for NDOAudit, that is not a Nagios plugin, rather is is an addon for Eclipse BIRT.

thanks
seems some kind of export tool would have been created by now....just need an export to .cvs with host/service ...alert user .....escalation users...
hows does one audit a hundreds of servers and 1000's of services to make sure notifications are correct...
I will look at the cache....and see if I can figure something out....manually reviewing each will be extremely tedious.
