nagios quick search not showing all hosts
nagios quick search not showing all hosts
When i type box*; it only show's one box instead of 5. When i remove /usr/local/nagios/var/retention.dat then i can see all 5 host. After a few minutes then the quick search only comes back with 1 host. Any idea's? Thanks!!

Re: nagios quick search not showing all hosts
Do all 5 hosts start with "box"? If not, try specifying *box* to wildcard either end.
Re: nagios quick search not showing all hosts
it all starts with box. I already did both and it doesn't work unless i delete the retention.datslansing wrote:Do all 5 hosts start with "box"? If not, try specifying *box* to wildcard either end.

Re: nagios quick search not showing all hosts
i have 2 which are identical(one is for testing):abrist wrote:What version of core are you running?
Version 4.0.2
and
Version 4.0.7
I'm not sure if it matters, but i have the following Active Host / Service Checks: 3673 / 36010
Re: nagios quick search not showing all hosts
That does seem like a lot of services, but it shouldn't affect anything with the search except maybe speed.
I'm not able to recreate the issue on my end. Have you made any changes to your nagios.cfg?

Re: nagios quick search not showing all hosts
I haven't made any changes. It's just weird that it's only that box with that problem. I'm able to look for everything else with no problem. Here's my nagios.cfg:tmcdonald wrote:That does seem like a lot of services, but it shouldn't affect anything with the search except maybe speed.

Still cannot re-create this.
above the table of after searching, do you get
