XI 2014 - Scheduled downtime never scheduled

XI 2014 R1.1
Manual install on CentOS 6.5
We had some rolling network outages this weekend so I simply shutdown our Nagios box. After booting up, I noticed that when downtime is submitted, it never gets scheduled.
I get the usual confirmation pop-up that says it will happen, but it never occurs. I see cron running and the log simply has "PROCESSED 0 COMMANDS".
Thoughts?
Tom
EDIT:
I have tailed the /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log and it never says anything but "PROCESSED 0 COMMANDS", even after I submit a command.
File permissions check reports no issues.
Hitting "Apply Configuration" in CCM results in output in /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log.
SOLVED (maybe):
So, checking /usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log, I saw a ton of incoming SNMP traps that weren't configured appropriately. Corrected that, rebooted and now all is okay. Confusing at best.
Guessing we can lock this.
