Nagios core and Nagios Network Analyzer problem

Post by alienone »

Hi
Trying to get core and Network analyzer work but when I try connect from Analyzer via NRDP to Core it say "URL does not appear to be an NRDP server: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/nrdp"
When I put in the wrong NRDP Token it say it is the wrong token so it seems that something is workin but not the all the way.
Is there something I have forgot to configure on the Core Server ?

Hi
Here is both the access.log & error.log.
What I can see the machine do not appear in the error log I can see it in the access log.
The machine where Network Analyzer is the one that ends with .5

Can you view the nrdp page in your normal browser and submit a passive check with the web form and correct token for an existing host and service?
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.

Can you post two things? The first is the actual XML of the check you are submitting in the browser, and the other is the response it gives you when you do submit.

Here is the output from the check.
It looks like it don't accept the token.
I have tried to change the token but have not been able to do so.

Can you please post the XML that you sent as I requested in my last post?

In addition, can you confirm that the token you are sending does not have any trailing spaces, missing characters, or incorrect characters? You can find the correct token in /usr/local/nrdp/server/config.inc.php as the first config option. And I am a bit confused when you say "I have tried to change the token but have not been able to do so." - do you mean you didn't know where the token is, or that when you did try to change it you were not allowed?

Regarding the token I might have used incorrect charachters so I tried to change it from !xxxxxx# to xxxxxx but when I try to connect with the new token it just say bad token.
I just edit the config.inc.php and then restarted the httpd.
The xml I sent was from the NRDP API Test page.
Token xxxxxx
Command DISABLE_HOST_NOTIFICATIONS;ABG-HO01-SE

It almost sounds like you are filling in the token for the Command area and clicking the Check Data submit button. Can you fill in the token and take a screenshot of the page? Then indicate which button you are clicking. Be sure to censor any sensitive information.
