Respond Link

Prior to upgrading to 2014 emails that were sent out had a "Respond" url that users could click on.

The url is still there but it is not a link, only the Nagios url is a link. How do I re-enable the "Respond:" link?

Hmm, as far as I know and have seen, it should still be a URL. Can you show us what you have set for this macro in your user's email settings templates? Is this for both hosts and services?

This worked prior to upgrade

***** Nagios XI Alert *****

%alertsummary%

Notification Type: %type%

Service: %service%
Host: %hostalias%
Address: %hostaddress%
State: %servicestate%
Wiki URL: %serviceactionurl%

%serviceoutput%
Date/Time: %datetime%

Respond: %responseurl%
Nagios URL: %xiserverurl%

***** Nagios XI Alert *****

%alertsummary%

Notification Type: %type%
Host: %host%
State: %hoststate%
Address: %hostaddress%
Info: %hostoutput%
Wiki URL: %hostactionurl%
Date/Time: %datetime%

Respond: %responseurl%
Nagios URL: %xiserverurl%

Does the URL begin with "http:/" instead of "http://" by chance?

If so this is a known issue and I have filed an internal bug report for this.

Yes this is the case, the url is http:/

Is there a workaround?

This has been fixed - asking for the workaround now. Will update when I know more. See below post for the fix.

You can unzip the attached file and place it in the following directory to resolve this issue
/usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes
