Issues upgrading to Nagios 2014R1.2

I am trying to upgrade to Nagios XI 2014R1.2 and it completes despite receiving the message "This system is not registered to Red Hat Subscription Management. You can use subscription-manager to register". It also provides the message "./upgrade: line 541: service: command not found".

I run the commands /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios | head -2 ---> Nagios Core 4.0.7, /usr/local/nagios/bin/ndo2db | head -2 ----> NDO2DB 2.0.0

When I login to the Nagios XI instance it shows "Nagios XI 2012R2.9".

Any assistance would be appreciated.

As was previously mentioned via phone and on your ticket, you need to register RHEL, additionally, we should handle this over your ticket so we keep all the information in one location, that we we don't miss details as you progress further on the upgrade path if they arise.
