After upgrading from 2012R2.9 to 2014R1.2, we get these warning messages.

Warning: use_embedded_perl_implicitly is deprecated and will be removed.
Warning: sleep_time is deprecated and will be removed.
Warning: p1_file is deprecated and will be removed.
Warning: external_command_buffer_slots is deprecated and will be removed. All commands are always processed upon arrival
Warning: enable_embedded_perl is deprecated and will be removed.
Warning: command_check_interval is deprecated and will be removed. Commands are always handled on arrival
Total Warnings: 0
Total Errors: 0

How to remove these? Please advise. Thanks.

Those warnings can be ignored and should go away on their own. Basically they are obsolete config options that are being removed as of the update to Nagios Core 4.0+

However, I noticed that when I delete services, it doesn't delete immediately. Before the upgrade, I usually just go to legacy ccm>services>(delete a service)>then Apply Configuration. After the upgrade, even if I wait, it does not delete services from my default view (ex: service status summary). I have observed that I need to go to write config files and update the service for it disappear.
Is there a fix for this?

The fix is not using the Legacy CCM. You should be using the normal CCM for management.
