TIme periods created by default

We have many time periods (like the ones below) created by default during user creation. There are hundreds of these time periods. Can we delete them? If so, do we run into any issues?

If the contact is using a different timeperiod it is safe to delete the "default" one.
Note: You won't be able to delete it if there are some dependencies. You can check if deletion is possible by going to CCM->Time Periods, and clicking on the "Info" actions button next to the timeperiod (blue circle with white "i" in the middle).
