Nagios XI has a number of features that do not have any similar analogs in the core world. The closest you may come is to use:

You may be able to use Nagios XI instead of core. Look at the terms for XI and see if you fall into the free usage category. http://www.nagios.com/products/nagiosxi/pricing states:
