"Status Summary For All Service Groups" Dashlet issue ...

Hello:
I'm creating a Home Page Template and noted that the "Status Summary For All Service Groups" dashlet appears to be permenent, meaning that the dashlet does not have the "Delete Dashlet" icon nor the "Pin / Float Dashlet" arrow icon, and I can't move that dashlet around.
All other dashlets are fine.
Is this supposed to be that way? I don't think it's supposed to be that way.

It seems to be working fine for me. I can move the dashlet and I can delete it... What is the Nagios XI version that you are currently using? Can you describe in details all of the steps you took to add the dashlet to the dashboard? You can show us some screenshots.

EDITED: It appears that the pictures will appear in reverse order. Picture is listed as the bottom picture and Picture 2 is listed as the top picture - so they are listed in FILO order (like a program stack back in the days of machine language programming.)

We are running Nagios XI 2014R1.2.

I am logged in as the Nagios XI console as the local Administrator account and am in Dashboards - My Dashboards - Home Page.

I can hover over the all other Dashlets and get the icons, but the icons do not appear for "Servicegroup Status Summary" when I hover over that dashlet (even the blue header name "Servicegroup Status Summary" does not appear). My browser window is maximized and scrolled all the way up, too. I'm using Firefox 29.0.1 on Windows 7 (fully-patched) running 1680 x 1050 resolution on an HP L2245wg monitor.

Picture 1 (attached) is showing the icons when the mouse hovers over a different dashlet (circled in red) and also shows that the blue-colored coded title for "Status Summary For All Service Groups" does not appear.

When I'm in the "Home" menu, the icons do appear for "Servicegroup Status Summary" when I hover over that item, (circled in red in picture 2, attached).

When I create a Home Page template, I don't want the "Servicegroup Status Summary" dashlet and want to deploy the Home Page template (our preference). I know that the workaround would be for everyone to delete that from their Home Page, but want to know if this can be corrected.

It's like the dashlet was shoved up into the top of the viewing template page and now one can't pull it back down.

Thank you.

I logged in as the Nagios XI Administrator and deleted the dashlet from that account's home page (Home), then verified that the dashlet disappeared in the "Home Page" Dashboard. Odd.

If you created a dashboard as nagiosadmin and deployed it to a user, while selecting the "Keep Synced" checkbox, the user won't be able to make changes to the dashboard, such as deleting the dashlet, changing the dashlet's location, etc.

Yes, I understand that. I did not have the "Keep Synced" option checked, so we are good.

Since I haven't made this Production yet, I masqueraded as the other users and changed their Home Page from the default to the new one, and deleted that dashlet.

I'm learning more than I probably should, but this is good.

Thank you.
