Hello Admin,
This is Jagat here currently working on project module OpenStack Service Assurance on Icehouse .
My queries are as follows:
1.How can we integrate and configure Nagios and its plugins with Celiometer? And if not what are the other alternatives ?
2.And if we are able to integrate these two ,then what other tools like Graphite,Statsd etc. which nagios recommend to configure for complete monitoring of openstack and how to configure it?
3.Does Nagio monitoring tool help in meeting the SLA's by providing a monitoring and reporting on service levels ?

Do you mean ceilometer?

There are a few options listed here when it comes to ceilometer:

Installing something like graphite or PNP would only do you good with the check you choose if they return performance data for those graphing systems. Nagios XI includes an SLA report, core does not, you would have to hand script some sort of check for SLA, or calculate it based on the returns you get.
